تشكل قصة موسى مع فرعون المحور الجوهري في هذه الدراسة، التي تعالج فيها المؤلفة ومن زوايا عديدة موضوع الحكم والبيئة الاجتماعية وروابطها السياسية. ولهذه الدراسة أهمية بالغة الإفادة لأنها قد تضيف الكثير إلى عالم المعرفة الحديثة، وخصوصاً أن صيغتها الجوهرية تسم بالتحليل الذاتي والاستنتاج من قبل المؤلفة. التي عمدت إلى تقسيم بحثها إلى بابين، الباب الأول: مختص بالقصة القرآنية عن موسى وفرعون، ثم الباب الثاني: المختص بالقصة التوراتية ومقارنتها بالقصة القرآنية، مقارنة عميقة تتسم بموضوعية بالغة، وجدّة فكرية. وقد خاضت المؤلفة بداية في قصص الأنبياء، نوح، هود، صالح، لوط، شعيب، على أساس تكوين خلفية متينة للقصة في إطار تاريخي روحي، بهدف التأكيد أن قصة موسى وفرعون أتت ضمن سياق تاريخي واحد، واضح بمعالمه وآثاره فيسهل فهمها، واستيعاب عبرها ودروسها على مرّ التاريخ.
