من أجل أن يتهيأ لأهل الذكر والطاعة، ما يلزم من زاد الروحي فقد جمع المؤلف في هذا الكتاب إحدى وخمسون مناجاة منسوبة لأهل البيت رضي الله عنهم انتخبت من مصادر متفرقة اشتهر مؤلفوها بالتقوى والعلم والفضل، ولم يكن من المتيسر التحقيق في أسانيدها للصعوبات المرافقة لموضوع الدُّعاء والَّتي سبق ذكرها والتفصيل فيه في كتب أخرى.
وقد قام المؤلف بشرح الكلمات الَّتي قد تكون مبهمة أو غير واضحة عند البعض ليتمكن جميع الدَّاعين من معايشة المناجاة والتلذّذ بمعانيها، كما تمّ تسمية المناجاة الَّتي ليس لها اسم بتسمية منتزعة من مضمونها ليكون ذلك معرّفاً لها عند الدَّاعين، كذلك قد تمّ وضع الفوارز بين الجمل والفقرات، وكتابة المناجاة بخط جميل واضح، وطباعة أنيقة، ليكون ذلك عاملاً في إقبال الأنفس عليها والرغبة في التقرّب إلى الله بها؛ هذا وقد أضيفت الصَّلاة على محمَّد صلى الله عليه وسلم وآله عليهم السلام في بداية كل مناجاة والإختتام بها.
