ويتضمن هذا الكتاب الفصول التالية: الفصل الأول: مقدمة في الأكسل ويتناول كيفية التشغيل والمكونات الأساسية لنافذة البرنامج والأشرطة المختلفة الموجودة في الشاشة إضافة إلى أوراق العمل وتخزين الملف وأوامر الفتح والإغلاق وإنشاء المصنف الجديد ومشاركة الملفات، الفصل الثاني: إستخدام أوراق العمل ويتناول إدخال البيانات في ورقة العمل، وإدخال العناوين والنصوص والبيانات، الفصل الثالث: الدوال في الإكسل حيث يتم تناول الدوال من خلال إدراجها وبناء الدالة، ومعرفة الدوال المالية ودوال التاريخ والوقت والدوال المنطقية والدوال الرياضية بالتفصيل، الفصل الرابع: الدورة المحاسبية وهي عبارة عن تطبيق على البرنامج للدورة المحاسبية وطريقة إعداد دليل الحسابات، الفصل الخامس: التكاليف ونقطة التعادل حيث يتناول التطبيقات الخاصة بالتكاليف وتقديرها وإعداد نقطة التعادل، الفصل السادس: الإهتلاك بإستخدام إكسل حيث تناول طرق الإهتلاك المختلفة بإستخدام الإكسل، الفصل السابع: الرواتب والأجور وهنا يتم تناول موضوع الرواتب والأجور وإستخدام الأكسل في تطبيقاته.
وأخيراً يجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذا الكتاب يعتبر مقدمة للتطبيقات المحاسبية بالإكسل وإنه أول كتاب يتناول هذه التطبيقات بالأسلوب الذي تم تناوله.
