إن التنوع في الأحكام، والتشعب في المسالك الحياتية، صفة لازمة للشريعة، والسعي في المعرفة لها، والفضل والأجر الثواب الكبير، وإن الخوض فيها هي الزيادة في الفقه فكلما تنوعت وتشعبت ازداد المرء فقهاً كنحو العبادات والفضائل والمنهيات، والترغيب والترهيب ومبشّر السابقين. وإن كتاب "فتح الرحيم الرحمن" شرح لامية ابن الوردي المسماة نصيحة الإخوان ومرشد الخلاّن، هي من نظم الأديب الإمام عمر بن مظفر بن أبي الفوارس الحلبي الشافعي البكري الصديق وهو منسوب إلى أبي بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه، ونسبه معروف مشهور لا شك فيه. والقصيدة بشكل عام تحمل رسالة متنوعة شملت جوانب كثيرة، وإشارات إلى أحكام عديدة فكانت تحمل مضموناً فيه ازدياد للمعرفة، والكشف عن الأحكام وسواها وهي مشتملة على خمسة وسبعين بيتاً منظمة وفق بحر الرمل.
