Fort d'une experience internationale en matiere de recherche et d'enseignement, d'abord en France (notamment aux cotes du Doyen J. Carbonnier, a Paris II), puis aux Etats-Unis (Harvard Law School), ainsi qu'au Liban (Universites Saint-Joseph, Libanaise, et du Saint-Esprit, Kaslik), le professeur Philippe AUADE s'est attele depuis peu a la redaction d'un Traite sur les societes (commerciales, mais egalement civiles); axe sur le droit positif du Liban d'aujourd'hui, cet ouvrage en revele a l'occasion les insuffisances et les retards par rapport a l'evolution constante du droit des societes (le lecteur francais pensera naturellement aux profondes reformes qui viennent d'etre introduites par la loi N.R.E. du 15 mai 2001); mais le deuxieme Tome (volume 1) qui est maintenant livre a la curiosite des juristes et autres particiens leur offre par la-meme l'occasion de reflechir sur les enjeux du choix de la forme anonyme, en general; aussi apres le premier Tome reseve aux SARL, et dans l'attente du deuxieme Volume (du Tome 2) qui sera consacre aux societes par actions ''speciales'' (Banques, assurances, holding, offshores,.. ) puis d'un dernier Tome couvrant les societes de personnes et les societes civiles, le present ouvrage vient combler, au moins pour ce qui concerne le Liban, un certain vide dans l'univers juridique francophone.
