يتناول هذا المؤلف مجموعة قضايا فقهية معاصرة -ذات شأن وأهمية في الاقتصاد الإسلامي عموماً، وفيما يتعلق بمعاملات المصارف والمؤسسات المالية الإسلامية خصوصاً -ببحوث علمية منهجية، تجمع شتات موضوعاتها، وتلم شعت مسائلها وجزئياتها وكلياتها، وتقتنص شواردها وأوابدها، وتعرض مقالات أهل العلم وأدلتهم فيها، مع بذل الوسع في تحليلها ومناقشتها، والتخريج عليها والترجيح بينها، واختيار الأولى في شأنها، في ضوء نصوص الكتاب والسنة، وهدي القواعد الكلية والمقاصد الشرعية، بغية تهذيب النظر، وتنقيح القول في تلك القضايا -بعد تخليص جوهرها من شوائب الملابسات والإشكالات- بنظر اجتهادي يجمع بين الأصالة والتجديد، وبين التراث الفقهي الموروث بنصوصه وروحه والتطبيقات العصرية في أعمال ونشاطات البنوك والمؤسسات المالية الإسلامية.
وقد جمع هذا المصنف تلك البحوث العلمية المنوه بها، وهي تتناول خمس عشرة قضية، يتقدمها تمهيد في ثراء الفقه الإسلامي، وقابليته للتطور والإبداع، والوفاء بحاجات الناس ومصالحهم، وجاء ترتيبها على النحو التالي: 1-المال: حقيقته، وأقسامه. 2-القبض الحكمي للأموال، وتطبيقاته في المعاملات المصرفية المعاصرة. 3-زكاة الدين غير المرجو والمال الضمار. 4-بطاقات الائتمان. 5-البيعتان في بيعة والصفقتان في صفقة. 6-بيع الدين: أحكام وتطبيقاته المعاصرة. 7-القروض المتبادلة بالشرط، وتطبيقاتها المصرفية المعاصرة. 8-اجتماع العقود المتعددة في صفقة واحدة. 9-مدى جواز أخذ الأجر على الضمان. 10-عقوبة المدين المماطل. 11-مدى صحة تضمين يد الأمانة بالشرط, 12-العدل بين الأولاد في العطية والنفقة. 13-استثمار أموال الأيتام. 14-ربط الديون والالتزامات الآجلة بمؤشر تكاليف المعيشة. 15-الدور الاستثماري للدولة: معالمه وضوابطه.
وهذه البحوث العلمية سبق لبعضها أن قدم لمؤتمرات وندوات علمية في بلدان مختلفة. أو نشر في دوريات علمية محكمة، غير أن المؤلف قد عاد عليها جميعاً بالتنقيح والتحرير، وأعمل فيها يد الزيادة والتهذيب، ووشى حللها بإضافات علمية ذات بال.
