تدور أحداث الروايه حول شاب ذو عمر السادسه والعشرون وقع في الحب لحد الجنون، واجهته الصعوبات لقاء هذا الحب و بعد كفاحه للتيارات المحيطه به من الأهل و الأصدقاء.. قرر البعد و المُضيّ بأحزانه خارج البلاد هرباً من انكساراته باحثاً عن ذاته في ملجأ جديد. وكان لخياره و قراره واقع آخر فعلاً.. ف البلاد الأخرى مليئة بالمفاجآت و كفيله بأن تصنع منه رجلا. هرب وهو يحمل هماً ليقابل بعد ذلك هموماً كأنها تنتظره بشوق، حتى أتى قرار حزم حقائب فشله عائداً إلى مشكلته الأولى عائدا من رحلة الهرب البائسه، و من حياة قد امتلأت بالمتاعب، فأصبحت حياته تفتقد الأمل.فهل للخيبه أن تتحول لـ أمل؟ أم هل لفتى مثله أن يدركه الحظ يوماً؟ هل سيجد ذلك النور الذي يخرجه من تلك الظلمات؟ و هل يستطيع أن يحيى بعيداً عن الشتات؟
