"ثير فرائد الجمان في نظم مخول الزمان" أو "مشاهير الشعراء والكتاب في المشرق والأندلس والمغرب "عنوانان لكتاب واحد دونه الأمير "أبي الوليد إسماعيل بن الأحمر الغرناطي الأندلسي" سنة 800 حسب تقدير بعض المحققين وضمنه تراجم أدبية لرجال من شعراء المشرق والمغرب والأندلس، كما وضمنه نصوصاً مجهولة ومهمة جداً للعاملين في تدوين تاريخ الأدب العربي في ذلك الزمن.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذا الكتاب هو مكمل لكتاب المؤلف "نثير الجمان في شعر من نظمني وإياه الزمان"، وهما يتمتعان بمنهج واحد في سرد التراجم والاختيار الأدبي آثار الشعراء والكتاب. ولئن كانت وقفة المؤلف عند معاصريه من المشارقة وقفه سريعة. فإن قيمة الكتابين تكمن في تراجمه الأندلسية والمغربية لأولئك الأدباء والشعراء المعاصرين له، بل إن المؤلف ينفرد بسرد عدد من التراجم وخصوصاً في تراجم المغاربة-ويقدم نصوصاً مجهولة مفيدة عما قلنا، ومهمة في تدوين تاريخ الأدب العربي، ويلحظ على ابن الأحمر في تدوينه لهذين الكتابين استعانته بمصادر من تراث المقري التلمساني" أزهار الرياض" و"نفح الطيب".
