قصصٌ جذابة من حياة النبي الأعظم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، يرويها الأستاذ لطيف مطوّف الراشدي في هذا الكتاب بالإستناد إلى ما جاء في الكتب المعتبرة لأهل بيت النبوة من روايات وأحاديث تدل على أخلاقه وسيرته الشريفة صلى الله عليه وسلم بدءاً من مولده وأصحابه وآدابه في مجالسه وأعماله وغزواته للدفاع عن الإسلام وكتبه إلى كسرى ملك فارس والمقوقس وقيصر الروم وهرقل والحارث الغساني والنجاشي ، وهوذة " ملك اليمامة " وغيرها من الكتب المرسلة إلى اليهود والأساقفة بالإضافة إلى معاجزه صلى الله عليه وسلم وكراماته ، وذكر اعتكافه في رمضان ، وغيرها من حكم ومواعظ النبي الأعظم صلى الله عليه وسلم .
يقول صلى الله عليه وسلم : " ركعتان بسواك أفضل من سبعين ركعة بغير سواك . ودعوة في السّر أفضل من سبعين دعوة في العلانية ، وصدقة في السر أفضل من سبعين صدقة في العلانية " . وعن جابر ، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ليس من ثيابكم أحسن من البياض .
وأما المؤلف فيقول عن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في مقدمة كتابه : " ... نعم ، إن الرسول والنبي الأعظم محمد بن عبد الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، له حقٌ عظيم على الإنسانية والعالم الإنساني إذ نجا من طلب النجاة وفلح من أراد الفلاح بتعاليمه الربانية ، وظل مَنْ لم يتمسك بهذه العروة الوثقى التي لا انفصام لها في وهدة الظلال .. ونحن ها هنا نقطف من هذه الباقة النبوية المحمدية العظيمة بعض الرياحين ونشم رائحتها العطرة ... " .
