في عملها الشعري "كأي شيء يطير عالياً" تسعى هدى ياسر إلى كتابة خاصة ومتفردة في كتابه قصيدة النثر عربياً، وليس على المستوى المحلي فحسب. نتلمس ذلك بالموقف الفكري من العالم والمعرفة ومن المحيط والبيئة بكل عناصرها المتعينة في الكائنات الحيَة والجامدة. هذا يعني أن للشاعرة موقف فلسفي من العالم ومن الأشياء، وهذا هو حال الشعراء عامة وهم يعيدون رسم معالم الحياة حين تستحيل الأماني، وتغيب الأحلام في قسوة الواقع. تقول الشاعرة في إحدى نصوص الكتاب: "أسند إلى الجدار أصابع قدمي ويداي تقلدان رجلي في الثبات على الأرض. بـ هذه الحركة أرى العالم بـ كامل حقيقته السوية مقلوباً، و(بـ المرة) أعرج على طفولتي في خانة اللعب، فيكسب وجهي عمراً أطول بابتسامتي، آملة أن يستفيد، قنديل مكوناتي، من عورة العالم المكشوفة.
هكذا تكتب هدى ياسر تحلق عالياً، في إثارة الدهشة عند المتلقي وتحرره من سكونه وتحفزه أكثر على إلتقاط الإشارات منها...
في الكتاب (15) عنواناً اختارتهم الشاعرة منهم: "سر الظهيرة، المهمل المقدس" على الملاك داخلكم، صافحوني"... الخ.
