ولقد اختار المؤلف أن يضم إلى روايته كتابه الآخر (إشارة وعبارة) ليكونا توأمان في مغلف واحد إذ الإشارة حركة والعبارة محرك، والإشارة معنى والعبارة مبنى والاثنتان تجسدان حدثاً أو حديثاً أو نبوءة أو إنذاراً.
