هذه السطور هي نتاج معركة خاسرة، قاتلت فيها لأبقي أفكارها حبيسة عظام جمجمتي، وشخصياتها عبيدا لترددي وخشيتي من الفشل، فصنعت لهم سجنا حسبت أني حصنت جداره بأفكار اليأس والريبة، ومنعت عن أبطالها رؤية العالم من حولي، وتماديت في اضطهادي لعناوينها وفصولها وأحداثها حتى خلت لبعض الوقت أني تمكنت منها وكتمت صوت نبض الحياة عنها.
ولكني سهوت لحظة بعد أن اطمأن قلبي إلى السكون، فأدرت وجهي باتجاه الشمس فكانت تلك اللحظة التي اقتحم فيها النور نظري هي التي اضعفت انزوائي وهدمت جدران سجني، ليخرج منه أهل روايتي منتصرين على سلبيتي، مغتبطين بإطلالتهم على العالم، آملين بأن يجدوا في عقول الناس وقلوبهم مكانا أرحب من المكان الذي وضعتهم فيه، سأقرأ هذه الرواية مرة أخرى لأعرف أي ثغرة تركتها لينفذ عناصرها إلى العالم.
