في جديده الشعري "ولا قبلها من نساء ولا بعدها من أحد"، يزف لنا الشاعر السعودي عبد الوهاب أبو زيد أجمل القصائد التي تتغزل بالمرأة واصفها جمالها وحُسنها وألّقها ودلعها، ومتغزلاً بمواصفاتها حيث قال: "عيناك نبعان من السحر والفتنة... يا حسناء... لا ينبضان... عيناك... سكب الضوء في عتمة الليل... إذ الوحشة ملء المكان.
وفي قصيدة اخرى، يقول: "إذا همست شفتاك... يستعجل الصوت موسيقى... تطوق كل ما تلقاه بالأنغام... إن صمتت تنوح الأبجدية... بإنتظار رفيق صوتك... كي يداعبها لتنفر كالأيائل".
ويرى في حبيبته المرأة التي لا قبلها من نساء ولا بعدها من أحد: "كأن الجمال اصطفاها له وحده... فاستوت مثل فينوس... فوق سريد الزبد... تسامت... فما من شريك لها في الجمال... بعينين مخضّرتين إخضرار الجنان وثغرٍ تعتّف فيه البرد".
وقصائد ممتعة وغنية تتسم بلغة شعرية قوية، تضج بالأحاسيس والمشاعر المرهفة، تعكس الحب والعشق الذي يحمله كل إنسان عاشق لحبيبته الأسطورية.
يضم الديوان ثلاثون قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث، نذكر منها: "يجتاحني حبك"، "أفتش عنك"، "حبيبتي"، "عيناك"، "أشرقي في دمي"، "رسائل حب قصيرة"، "لا شيء يشبه حبك"، "ثلاث محاولات فاشلة أوصفها"، إلخ...
