لحسن حظَي أن حاسّة السّمع لديّ بقيت قوية تماماً تلتقط الهمس من بُعد، وهو ما يتيح لي معرفة الأسماء كلما حلّ جلساء جُدد في مطعم "تخاطْر" الذي أمتلك نصفه شريكاً ومديراً، بينما يقوم شريكي جعفر بالتموين والتشغيل والتمويل، لكن لي الفضل في إختيار الإسم الذي بدا غريباً حينذاك، نظر إليّ جعفر مستغرباً: النّاس تستهويها الأسماء البرّاقة، المدن السياحيّة، الإيحاءات، تخاطّر؟ أهذا الذي جادت به قريحتك؟...
... هناك في جامعة موسكو حضرتُ دروس فاسيلييف في التخاطُر وأعجبتُ بها، وحاولتْ إستيعابها وفهمها، ولم أكتفِ بذلك قط.
كان ليونيد فاسيلييف مولعاً ومتمرِّساً في التخاطر، ولسوء الحظ توفي سنة 1966، لكنه رعاني علماً كإبنه طوال خمس سنوات، أمّا ولعي بالحياة العملية لا الأكاديمية فقد جاء بي إلى جعفر لنعمل معاً في إدارة هذا المكان مقهى ومطعماً".
يتخاطر ذهن كمّون وهو في مكمنه في بار ومطعم "تخاطر، حيث يختلط لونه الأبنوسي بعتمة الزاوية، ويظهر هذا التخاطر سيد المشهد في عالم فسيح مضطرب متخاصم، فيمسك كمّون بتلابيب السرد في رواية خارجة عن السرب، يتناغم إيقاعها مع فيض الحب بين أناسها لتقدّم حياة هي تزكية نادرة لإرادة الإنسانية ضدّ الدمار والتسلط والجشع.
"تخاطر" هي رواية هذا العصر وفدية الكتابة في عالم متوتر، عربونها العاطفة، وسبيلها فن سردي جديد، وقوتها طاقة الحب المنسابة في ثناياها.
إنها رواية توقظ عند القارئ الأمل وتستدعي الدعابة والضحك.
