هذه البحوث كتبت في ظروف شتى، وأزمان مختلفة، يجمعها نسب الإنتماء إلى العربية، التي عاشت قضاياها، وموضوعاتها في عصور متباعدة، وبيئات متباينة وحّدها الإسلام.

تجاوزت هذه البحوث - في معظم مفاصلها - القراءة الأولى إلى قراءات متعددة طرحت (المسلّمات) وتجنبت (الحتميات) التي ورثناها، وصدّقنا معظمها، ولكن صاحب هذه البحوث - على تواضعها - على يقين من أن المشترك الفكري والفني يجمع كل ما كتب في لغة القرآن الكريم؛ لأنه يهدف - بقصد أو بغير قصد - لخدمة هذه اللغة، فبرغم التفاوت الموهم في موضوعات هذه البحوث، وأزمانها إلا أنها تنضوي تحت هدف معرفي مشترك يفضي إلى وحدة عضوية؛ بسبب من وحدة لغوية ملتزمة، فالإختلاف - وليس الخلاف - رحمة للأمم حين لا يُفسد للود قضية.
