لم تزل (البردة) غرة المدائح النبوية التي ذاع في الآفاق صيتها, وترنمت المجالس والمحافل بأبياتها, وقد تضمن هذا الكتاب شرح أدبي يبسط معاني أبياتها, ويجعلها واضحة لكل قارىء, كما قام المؤلف بشرح المفردات الغريبة في البيت, وشرح المعنى العام للبيت, وتم إعراب البيت مفردات وجملاً بالتفصيل, واستخراج ما في البيت من صور بيانية إن وجدت. كما يحتوي على ما يغني الطالب من الناحية التطبيقية, ويقوي فيهم القدرة الإعرابية.. ويضم النماذج البلاغية العملية التي ستعين الطالب على فهم فنون: التشبيه والاستعارة والكناية. هذا ومن المعروف أن البردة من أشهر ما قيل في الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم, ولهذا عارضها كثيرون, ومنهم أحمد شوقي في( نهج البردة), والبردة أيضاً ثم( الهمزية) أشهر قصائد البوصيري( المنسوب إلى بوصير في مصر). ولا شك أن التدريب على الشرح والإعراب والبلاغة من خلال قصائد عالية تستحق أن يحفظ المرء شيئاً منها هو الأجدر بنا.
