تقاسمت بريطانيا و فرنسا بلاد الشام و العراق وفقَ معاهدة سايكس بيكو عام 1916م, فاحتلت فرنسا و سوريا و لبنان, و احتلت بريطانيا فلسطين و الأردن و العراق. و سموا هذا الاحتلال "انتداباً". سمح الانتداب البريطاني بهجرة اليهود إلى فلسطين, من كل أنحاء العالم. و قام بتسليحهم, و ساعدهم على اغتصاب أراضي الفلسطينيين, و قد وعد وزير الخارجية البريطاني بلفور اليهود عام 1917م, بإقامة وطن قومي لهم فيها. في عام 1948م, أنهى المستعمر البريطاني انتدبه على فلسطين, و سلم مواقعه الاستعمارية لليهود, الذين شكلوا عصاباتٍ إرهابية, و ارتكبوا المجازر الوحشية في المدن و القرى بحق أهل فلسطين, و منها مجزرة دير ياسين, و مجزرة قبية. و قتلوا و أبادوا و دمروا و طردوا الكثير من أهلها خارج بلادهم. و أقاموا كيانهم الإرهابي الاستيطاني الصهيوني و سموه "إسرائيل", و تعني كلمة استيطاني أن المحتل الصهيوني يستجلب اليهود من بلادهم ليحلهم محل أصحابها الحقيقيين الفلسطينيين. احتل الصهاينة جزءاً من فلسطين عام 1948م, و القسم الغربي من مدينة القدس. و في حرب عام 1967م, احتل الصهاينة بقية فلسطين, الضفة الغربية و قطاع غزة, و القسم الشرقي من مدينة القدس و فيها المسجد الأقصى المبارك.
من مدينة فلسطينية إلى مدينة أخرى تتنقل بنا كتيبة الاستطلاع في بحثها عن مملكة جديدة للنمل الأشقر بعد أن ضاقت بهم مملكتهم. وفي كل محطة نتعرف معهم على مدينة من فلسطين كنا وما نزال نراها ونسمع عنها وهي تناضل بمرارة لتحرير أرضها.
