" أهدتني البحر وخبّأت الشاطىء " عنوان شعري ماتع لا يحتاج إلى كثير تعليق لأنه لا يعدو كونه مجرد شكوى محب يقدمها سعد الدين شاهين عن امرأة مسّه منها الهوى ، وعرف معها ذائقة الحب ، وعاشها حلم قديم ، لم يرد مفارقته أبداً فشرع لها أبواب ذاكرته لتسكن فيها ، وكتبها قصيدة تُقرأ : " فأنتِ حرفي ولوني وارتعاش يدي وأنت جدي الذي يختصُهُ قلمي / عشقي قديمْ جديدٌ فيكِ من زمنٍ / مرّت عليه القوافي وغنى الشعر بالنغم / وكنتِ فيه كما تدرين سيدتي / وكنت أنتِ صباغُ اللونِ / بل مستنبي ودمي " .
في نمنمات عاشق تحضر في النص ببعدها الروحي للتعبير عن " الهو " بالتوازي مع الـ " هي " . تتماهى مع مذهب العشق الكامن في أعماق الشاعر لنقل رؤيته للحب . وتأتي هنا ضمن لعبة لاشعورية مخفية لا يدركها المتلقي إلا بالدخول إلى أسرار النص واكتناه معانيه وعوالمه الشعورية والجمالية . يقول الشاعر : " ... والتقينا مثلما كنا تواعدنا / على حب وموسيقى وفيضٍ / من شعور الدندنة / نقطف الأحلام من بستانها المدفون في القلب / ونبني في هوانا / سكناً " .
