Book Description
تسلسل العلم بدمشق منذ الفتح الإسلامي، وقامت فيها حلقاته في أيامه الأولى .. عقدها الصحابة في جامعها الكبير.
ولعل أول حلقة منها حلقة أبي الدرداء رضي الله عنه. وأقبل الدمشقيون يتعلمون على أيدي الصحابة فالتابعين .. وهكذا حتى تسلسل العلم ونما وزكا وانتشر.
وعُنيت أسر كثيرة بالأخذ بالعلم، وورثه الأبناء عن الآباء ونقلوه إلى ذراريهم، فاشتهرت به أسر ذاع صيتها، خدمت العلوم المختلفة كابراً عن كابر، واستمر عطاء أبنائها مئات السنين .. كأسرة الحافظ إبن عساكر، وأسرة المقادسة، وأسرة القرشي، وأسرة الباعوني، وغيرهم كثير، خرّجوا طلاب العلم، وربوا الأجيال، وعمّروا دور القرآن والحديث والفقه والعلوم الأخرى كالطب والرياضيات والهندسة بالحلقات العلمية.
هذا الكتاب يتتبع كل بيت علمي نشأ بدمشق، ويبحث في تسلسل العلم فيه. خصّص المؤلف أجزاءه الأربعة للبيوتات العلمية من القرن الأول حتى نهاية القرن العاشر الهجري، وأشار بتفصيل إلى إنجازاتهم العلمية، مقرونة بالوثائق الكثيرة التي تدل على حضارة أمتنا العظيمة.
إنه كتاب يكشف عن تاريخ العلم بدمشق خلال الحقبة المشار إليها، ويضيء فيه جوانب مهمة جداً تنفع الباحثين.
