يتناول الخصوصية الثقافية للمرأة الشيعية في البحرين والرموز الشائعة لديها (الألوان) كالأسود والأبيض والأخضروالذهبي والأحمر. ويتضح من خلال هذا البحث ان هذه الألوان اكتسبت رمزيتها سواء الإيجابية أو السلبية من خلال ارتباطها بأهل البيت فاللون الأسود (حزناً على مقتل الإمام الحسين وأهل بيته، والستر والحشمة اقتداءً بالسيدة فاطمة الزهراء، والأخضر (الانتماء لأهل البيت)، أما الأحمر (الدم والقتل تأثراً بمقتل الإمام الحسين)، لكن اللون الذهبي (رمز للقباب).
ويتضح البعد الديني (الارتباط بالآخرة) الذي أضحى تأثيره أقوى من الأبعاد الأخرى؛ فاللونان الأسود والأبيض (يتمثلان في الكفر مقابل الإيمان)، والأخضر (مرتبط بالجنة والنعيم)، والذهبي (بنواريته وإشعاع الشخص المؤمن)، أما الأحمر فـ(لباس أهل النار).
