من فضل الله عز وجل على الأمة المحمدية أن جعل التكاليف الشرعية منطلقة من منطلقات يقينية ثابتة, ومتوجهة الى تحقيق أهداف محددة واضحة, ومن هذه التكاليف العظيمة الحج الى بيت الله الحرام, تلك العبادة الفردية في أدائها, الجماعية في مظهرها ومكانها وزمانها, وقد بين المؤلف علاقة الحج بتوحيد الله سبحانه وتعالى, حيث أن هناك رابطاً عظيماً بين التوحيد ونفي الشرك وبين الحج, مثل قوله تعالى: ( ولله على الناس حج البيت من استطاع إليه سبيلاً ومن كفر فإن الله غني عن العالمين ). وهذا يوصل الى قناعة تامة بأن الحج الى بيت الله الحرام بجميع أقواله وأعماله وشعائره- كأي عبادة أخرى تنطلق من (لا إله إلا الله) لتحقق تعميق (لا إله إلا الله) في النفوس بجلاء ووضوح. وقد جاءت هذه الكلمات موضحة هذا المعنى الكبير, حيث كل وقفة تظهر معنى من المعاني في الحج ودلالته على توحيد الله تعالى, مع شيء من التوضيح والبيان.
