لا زلنا نتابع تطور العالم في نظريات التعلم ونستسقي منها أفضل الطرائق التدريسية كي ندخلها حيز التطبيق في مدارسنا ومعاهدنا وكلياتنا وفي كل يوم العالم يشهد تطوراً نوعياً وقفزات نوعية في هذا المجال.
ويمكن القول إن طريقة التدريس ليست سوى مجموعة خطوات يتبعها المعلم لتحقيق أهداف معينة، وإذا كانت هناك طرق متعددة مشهورة للتدريس، فإن ذلك يرجع في الأصل إلى أفكار المربين عبر العصور عن الطبيعة البشرية، وعن طبيعة المعرفة ذاتها، كما يرجع أيضاً إلى ما توصل إليه علماء النفس عن ماهية التعلم، وهذا ما يجعلنا نقول أن هناك جذور تربوية ونفسية لطرائق التدريس.
وليست هناك طريق تدريس واحدة أفضل من غيرها، فلقد تعددت طرائق التدريس، وما على المعلم إلا أن يختار الطريقة التي تتفق مع موضوع درسه.
وهناك طرق تدريسية تقوم على أساس نشاط التلميذ بشكل كلي مثل طريقة حل المشكلات، وهناك طرق تقوم على أساس نشاط المعلم إلى حد كبير مثل طريقة الإلقاء، وهناك طريقة تدريسية تتطلب نشاطاً كبيراً من المعلم والتلميذ وإن كان المعلم يستحوذ على النشاط الأكبر فيها ألا وهي طريقة الحوار والمناقشة، وهناك طرق تدريسية مثل طرق التدريس الفردي كالتعليم المبرمج أو التعليم بالحاسبات الآلية، وهناك طرق التدريس الجمعي مثل الإلقاء والمناقشة وحل المشكلات والمشروعات والوحدات.
وفي هذا الكتاب سأعرض للنظرية البنائية وتطبيقاتها التربوية تهدف إلى الإستفادة منها كطريقة للتدريس، وقد قسم الكتاب إلى خمسة فصول جاءت وفق ما يلي: الفصل الأول: الجذور التاريخية والفلسفية للنظرية البنائية، الفصل الثاني: البنائية وعناصر المنهج، الفصل الثالث: المفاهيم المركزية لنظرية التعلم البنائية، الفصل الرابع: تطبيقات تربوية على وفق النموذج البنائي، الفصل الخامس: خطط أنموذجية لدروس مختلفة.
