لما كان أحد الأصلين الأصيلين والركنين الركينين، الأحاديث المأثورة، والآثار المروية عن رسول الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، قام علماء المسلمين بتشمير السواعد لجمع هذه الأحاديث وتدوينها حتى ملئوا الطوامير وسطروا السطور؛ وهم بين من اقتصر على روايات الفروع والأحكام، ومن جمع أخبار الأصول ونقل الروايات الواردة في الوعظ والإعتبار والأخلاقيات، وسائر فنون الحديث، فجادوا وأجادوا، كيف وهم حفاظ الشريعة؛ الذين ائتمنوا على ودائع النبوة. وممن حظي في ذلك بالسهم الوافر، واصطف في زمرة المكثرين المجيدين العلامة المتبحر في علمي الفقه والحديث نابغة الرواية مركز الإجازة، وقطب رحاها أبو جعفر الشيخ محمد بن الحسن آل الحر العاملي المشغري الجبعي؛ فإنه لم يال جهداً في هذا الشأن، فكم له من تصانيف رائق، وتأليف فائق بين كتاب ورسالة. ومن أشهر ما جادت به يراعته، وسمح به قلمه الشريف كتاب "إثبات الهداة في النصوص والمعجزات" الذي أتى فيه بالعجب العجاب، حيث أودع فيه أكثر من "عشرين ألف" حديث، بأسانيد تقارب "سبعين ألف" سند منقولة من (142) كتاباً من كتب الخاصة بلا واسطة، ومن (50) كتاباً لهم بالواسطة، و(24) كتاباً من كتب العامة بلا واسطة، و(223) كتاباً من كتبهم بالواسطة، ورتبه على أبواب الفقه مبتدئاً بكتاب الطهارة وهكذا... وكل باب فيه فصول، وكل فصل فيه أحاديث مع حسن الترتيب والتهذيب، وها هو بين يدي القارئ وقد تمّ الإعتناء به فجاء بحلة معاصرة إخراجاً وتصميماً وتنقيحاً وهوامش وفهارس، مع اغنائه بمقدمة ضمت ترجمة وافية عن حياة المؤلف، ميلاده، نسبه، النوابع في أسلافه وأقربائه، مشايخه، ترميذه والراوون عنه، آثاره العلمية بلغت 82 أثراً تنوعت مواضيعها بين فقه ومواعظ وتصوف، وفي علم النحو والصرف وفي علم النجوم وفي صيغ العقود والإيقاعات والدواوين، والتأريخ…
