مجموعة من الخطب المنبرية أنشأها وألقاها العلامة المحقق الداعي إلى الله تعالى السيّد الحبيب أبو محمد، زين بن إبراهيم بن سُميط باعلوي الحسيني، حفظه الله تعالى، عندما كان مقيماً بمدينة البيضاء اليمنية، مدرِّساً بمعهدها العلميّ الذي بناه العلامة المربي والداعية الكبير الحبيب محمد بن عبد الله الهدار رحمه الله تعالى، نائباً في تلك الخطب عن العلامة الهدّار المذكور. ثم إنّ المؤلف العلامةَ ابنَ سُمَيط رأى جمع تلك الخطب في كتابٍ واحدٍ لينتفع بها الخطيب والواعظ، مقسَّمةً إلى أربعةٍ أجزاء لطيفة، يسهل حملُها والقراءة منها.
وتمتاز هذه الخطب المنبرية بمواعظها البليغة، واشتمالها على موضوعاتٍ حياتيةٍ شرعيةٍ مهمة. وقد تمت خدمتُها في هذه الطبعة الأنيقة، بضبطها، وتصحيحها، وتخريج أحاديثها، وترتيبها. وأُلحِقَتْ بها خطبتان عظيمتان، هما وصيتان نافعتان، لعلَمَين من أعلام السادة آل باعلوي الحسينيين الحضرميين، الأولى: للإمام الحبيب طاهر بن حسين بن طاهر، والثانية: لشيخ الإسلام الحبيب عبد الله بن عمر الشاطري، رحمهما الله تعالى ورضيَ عنهما. فجاء الكتاب بمجموعه نافعاً مباركاً، نسأل الله تعالى أن يتقبّله ويجعل فيه النفعَ العميم.
