الحب ماء قراح زلال، ودوحة وارفة الظلال، فهنيئًا لمن ارتوى بزلاله، واستظل بظلاله. والحب حدائق ذات بهجة. يلاصق الأكباد، ويروي الفؤاد. الحب عطاء سخيٌّ، وكرم حاتميٌّ، بلا شروط ولا قيود. وأخيرًا فالحب قطار جميل، يسير على طريق طويل، وإن كان لا يخلو الطريق من الصدمات والأزمات. وهكذا تكون الحياة. فإذا بنيت الحياة الزوجية على المودة والرحمة، كما أراد الله تعالى، أثمرت سعادة غامرة، وأنشأت حياة ذات بهجة، وعاشت الأسرة في كنف الرحمن، تنشد سرورًا ونعيمًا، وتنجب ذرية طيبة صالحة، فتزيد النسل الذي يتباهى به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم القيامة، ويتحقق الهدف السامي من الارتباط الأسري المقدس. إن التعامل بين الزوجين يحتاج إلى شيء من التجديد والتنمية، وتطوير الحياة الزوجية، والتماس طرائق تنعش الأجواء، وتطرد الملل الذي يعتري كثيرًا من البيوت بعد مدة يسيرة من الزواج، للإلف والعادات القاتلة التي تجفف الينابيع بين الزوجين، وتطفئ حرارة الوداد بين الشريكين، فتمسي الحياة الزوجية بلقعًا بعد نضارة، وحبسًا بعد انطلاق، وعبئًا ثقيلا ينوء بكلكله على الزوجين، الأمر الذي يجعلهما يسعيان للخلاص، هذه هي رسالة هذا الكتاب، لعله يجبر الصدع، ويداوي الجراح.
