"فلسطين الجميلة../ عندما تستيقظ كل صباح/ تغسل وجهها بماء الكوثر/ وتتعطر بأريج الأنبياء/ وتتزين بجواهر الجنان/ وفي ذات يوم:/ قامت فلسطين الجميلة في الصباح/ أفرجت جفنيها عن عينين/ من نظرات إلى الشمس/ أضاءتها.. وتوقد المصباح/ ثم أرخت/ ذؤاباتٍ على وجهه الهلال/ وغنت له أغنية الحب..".
يضم الديوان اثنتا وثلاثون قصيدة نذكر من عناوينها: "جثة في الماء"، "جدف أيها البحار"، "خير من النوم"، "درب القمر"، "رسالة إلى شاعر"، "طفل في الحصار"، "على باب المخيم"... الخ.
