في مجموعته الشعرية "ملائكة الظّل" يستحضر الشاعر ناصر البدري جميع الأسماء / الشخوص التي تحمل في داخله مكانة خاصة، وهي كما يبدو نتاج مشاعر متوهجة دامت ستة عشرة عاماً للفترة من 1998 إلى 2014م، يقدم الشاعر هنا خلاصة تجارب مميزة لذكريات عميقة مع أناس تركوا في أعماقه أثراً مميزاً، وهو ما يمنح نصه شعريته وحرارته وتوقد معانيه وحضوره.
من قصيدته الموسومة بـ (عبد الرحمن الواجد) نقرأ: فرغت / كأسه العاشرة / فرغت .. / فأفرغ قنديل ليلته عنباً / لم تكن مائلة / زجاجتُهُ كالليالي / رآها .../ وقد لصقتً قطرتان بقعر الحقيقة / والأعين النبل في لطفها ماثلة / تدلى .. / فأطفاهُ الخمرُ واليأسُ / نامت على أسلوب السرد المكثف وتآلف الألفاظ وكل ذلك عبر مشاهد تستعيد الذات الشاعرة من خلالها آفاق زمنية ومكانية ولحظات خاصة تتداعى صورها بشكل كثيف من خلال الإشارة اللفظية والمعاني اللغوية ومستوياتها المتوالدة من خلال بُنى القص الشعري.
وعلى هذا الدرب تسير معظم قصائد المجموعة التي بدت تحمل أسماء أشخاص وهم: "موسى" ، "يوسف" ، "محمد" ، "عبد الرحمن الدوار" ، "عبد الرحمن الواجد" ، "أسماء" ، "ماريا 1" ، "ماريا 2" ، "الخِضْر" ، "المتنبي" ، "سعيد سلطان" ، "ناصر صالح" ، "بسمة مبارك سعيد" وأخيراً "قلْ لمسقط".
