هذه الرواية تتبنى التجريب أفقاً مقتدماً ومشرعاً على اللانهاية فتغامر فيه بلا تعيب بحيث تخلق شكلها وبنيتها المختلفة التي تسعى لتجاوز جريء فتقترح خلطاً مربكاً بين النص والروائي والنص النقدي ليتمم النقدي الروائي في النهاية.
الزندية النص، تفترض أن هنالك رواية ما نشرت من دار نشر ما باسم المؤلف الذي يحاكمه وينقده هنا ناقد متحذلق يدعي إنه يعرفه معرفة شخصية ويعرف الزندية/المكان وعاش فيها فترة من حياته ويعرف كل أشخاص الرواية.
فتنقسم الرواية بذلك إلى نصين. نص روائي على شكل اقتباسات واستشهادات من رواية الزندية المزعومة ونص نقدي لا يقف عن حدود النقد والتعليق على النص الروائي بل يشرح ويضيف ويروي أحداثاً مكملة لما قاله النص الروائي من موقع مختلف للرؤيا وموقع مختلف للقول ومن جدل موقعي الرؤيا والقول يتبنى النص المغامر ويمعن في لعبته خالقاً للوهم والتساؤل عند القارئ.
عل الزندية /الرواية موجودة حقاً خارج هذا النص أم لا؟
هل الزندية/المكان موجودة أم لا؟
وهل ما تحكيه هو واقع أم خيال؟
التساؤل. الشك. الوهم وربما المتعة هذا ما تقصدته الكتابة.
رواية لكاتب عربي سوداني فيها تصوير للشطر الشعبي البئيس والصاخب من أطراف مدينة سودانية، وإدانة لصغائر البشر ومكائد ومنغصات الاجتماع البشري في حيز كهذا، كما تصور الرواية صبوات وآلام وفجائع هؤلاء البشر وذلك المكان، ومن خلال أسلوب ينم عن براعة فنية ونشاط تخييلي موار.
