يتناول المؤلف في كتابه هذا بدائع خلق الحيوان وعجائبه مبيناً بأن ما ظهر في المخلوقات من الحكم إنما هي آيات بينات وبراهين واضحة، ودلائل دالات على جلال باريها وقدرته، ونفوذ مشيئته وظهور عظمته. هذا وإن المؤلف لم يحصر كل شيء عن حياة الحيوان، بل جمع الكثير الغريب منها، معتمداً لها المصادر القديمة والحديثة من تفسيرات قرآنية، وأحاديث نبوية، مروية عن النبي وآل بيته الأطهار وبعض المصادر التاريخية واللغوية المختلفة، وبعض الموسوعات العلمية التي تبحث في حياة لحيوان بشكل خاص معتمداً على وجه الخصوص في ترتيب الكتاب ومواضعه على كتاب "حياة الحيوان" للدميري بشكل كبير، حتى في أكثر المواضيع، وهي كافية لإظهار الخلق المحكم، ونبذ الغريزة العمياء لدى كل موضوعي منصف. والعاقل من تكفيه بضع أدلة، فيقنع. إن العناية الإلهية، والاحكام والإعجاز الرباني والتقدير الحكيم، لمسه العلماء جلياً واضحاً في مئات الألوف من الخلايا المدفوعة لأن تفعل الشيء الصواب في الوقت المناسب وفي المكان المناسب. والأمل أن يلمس القارئ أيضاً ذلك وهذا ما هدف إليه المؤلف من هذا الكتاب.
