محمد نور الدين أفايــة مفكر مغربي ولد بسلا سنة 1956، يشتغل أستاذا للفلسفة المعاصرة والجماليات بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط، وهو عضو سابق بالمجلس الأعلى للاتصال السمعي البصري، وحاليا خبير باللجنة الثقافية بالمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي.
له مقالات فلسفية وسياسية بمجموعة من الصحف والمجلات الوطنية :
الاتحاد الاشتراكي، العلم، أنوال، الحياة، دراسات عربية، الفكر العربي، الكرمل
فاز بجائزة أهم كتاب عربي لدورة 2015 التي تمنحها مؤسسة الفكر العربي ببيروت، وذلك عن كتابه "في النقد الفلسفي المعاصر، مصادره الغربية وتجلياته العربية" .

تتمثّل المهمّة النظرية والتاريخية والسياسية للفكر النقدي بـ"مساءلة البداهات"، وكشف تداعيات الآراء والمعتقدات الشائعة، وخلخلة أطر التفكير والمناقشة التي تستهدف تعليب عقول الناشئة واستلاب الإرادات، والتشويش على حرية الكائن وإلهائه بمظاهر الأمور وإغراءات الاستهلاك، وإخضاعه لما يستنفر الإدراك والانفعال.
والفكر النقدي هو نتاج عمليات ذهنية وتمثُّلات تسعف في الانتقال من الحساسية وحالات الانفعال إلى العقل والمفهوم، والعمل ما أمكن على إنتاج معرفة تتميز بالدقة، اعتماداً على مهارات البرهنة والتمييز والحكم المقنع. لهذا يُفترض بالفكر النقدي، كيفما كانت مرجعيته النظرية، مراعاة سياقات التفكير في زمن العالم، والعمل على تعرية نقائصه وأعطابه، وإبراز عناصر القوة فيه.
يتناول هذا الكتاب في فصوله الستة قضايا وأبعاد الفكر النقدي، بدءاً بالمقدمات النظرية للنقد في الفلسفة الحديثة ثم في الفلسفة المعاصرة، مروراً بوجهات النقد الفلسفي، وبالكثافة النقدية التي تتضمنها الفلسفة وعلاقتها بأسئلة الوجود والحياة، وأسئلة القيم والقلق العام الذي أصبح يساور الأفراد والجماعات، وانتهاءً بالنزعات النقدية في الفكر العربي المعاصر.
