"... غادرت تلك السيدة الثرية، المملؤة الجسد، ذاك الصالون بعد أن صبغت شعرها الأبيض الأجعد بالذهبي، ولعبت أنامل المزين بغرتها وأعطاها تسريحة تصلح لحفيدتها!!! وركض السائق يفتح الباب لها لتتكور داخل الرفاهية المسروقة الملمعة بأيدي المحروفين... أيادينا... وتستنشق هواء المكيف وأنا أتصبب عرقاً.. وحسرةً.. ركضت خلاصها وقطرات حليبها الأسود... ماء دموعها... وكفنها!! أرجوك اعطني شيئاً من خبزك اليابس.. ماءً نظيفاً.. سيدتي أستحلفك بالله أريد بضع ليرات أو حتى قروش.. وانهمرت الدموع الساخنة على وجنتي.. لتعطي السيدة إشارة للسائق بأن يقلع والتفتت وقالت والشيطان بوجهها: عجباً لهؤلاء (الشحاذين)... لماذا يزيد عددهم.. ويزعجونا بمناظرهم العفنة.. لماذا الفقير يتزوج وينجب حلت اللعنة عليك وعلى أمثالك.. حتى ستنظف شوارع مدينتي منكم؟ إلى متى ستنتظروني أمام بيتي... وتلمسون زجاج سيارتي لتتسخ من رائحة فقركم.. هيا اذهبي وألحقى بجنازة أمك... واسبقيها".
وفي مساء جميل.. عند الغروب، أمسكت بالقلم لأخط ما تبقى من ذاكرة عمري.. فأمسك بي.. وحط بحروفه الثقيلة فوق جسدي النحيل.. الدنيا كبيرة، والحياة جميلة، والساعات قليلة.. يا ليتني أعود طفلة صغيرة.. لتلك الضفيرة.. وللبسمة البريئة.. واللعب تحت فيات الياسمينة.. العالم يركض والأسباب تلاحقني، تسبق خطواتي الحزينة.. لا شيء يتوقف سوى قلبي وشريان دمي وجريان دمعة حزينة..
