يصدر هذا الكتاب في الذكرى المئوية لمولد باعث النهضة السورية القومية الاجتماعية، وقد مرّ اثنان وسبعون عاماً على تأسيس الحزب الذي أراده سعادة الأداة التنفيذية لتحقيق مبادئ هذه النهضة، ومضى خمس وخمسون سنة على استشهاده وكان في الخامسة والأربعين من حياته المستمرة في أفكاره وعقيدته ورواد نهضته.
هذا الكتاب ومن قبله كتاباً "الحصاد المرّ" و"كيف يحلو الحصاد" وعشرات الأبحاث والمقالات والمحاورات وضعت كلها من أجل العودة بالفكر إلى جذور العقيدة القومية الاجتماعية، وتثبيت الإيمان بها وبتاريخ الحزب وتاريخ هذه الأمة العظيمة، وباعث نهضتها.
ونلفت إلى أن الأبحاث والمقالات الواردة في هذا الكتاب والتي كتبت في أوقات متفرقة تشكل في الواقع، وحدة متكاملة في مضمونها. وقد ساعد في توضيح ما أصاب مسيرة الحزب من صعود وهبوط وركود والاقتراب من وهج عبقريته وأعماق تفكيره وتحمل مسؤوليات دقيقة تجاهه، ومعرفة وثيقة بالمسؤولين والقياديين الذين توالوا على الحزب منذ أواخر الثلاثينات من القرن الماضي والذين ظلت العلاقات الشخصية معهم مستمرة وحوارية وكذلك انتخابه عضواً في المجالس الأعلى وخازناً عاماً للحزب ورئيساً لأول مجلس للأمناء ومن ثم رئيساً للمجلس الأعلى في الانتفاضة الإنقاذية عام 1957 والمستمرة إلى اليوم في مناضلين لم يتخلوا عن التعبير الصادق عن مبادئ النهضة القومية الاجتماعية رغم كل الصعاب.
