هذا إنجازٌ في عصرٍ أهانت فيه وسائل التّواصل الاجتماعيّ الكتابةَ أيّما إهانة، خصوصًا القصيرة منها؛ فكانت القصّة القصيرة والشِّعر أوّل ضحايا هذا النّزوع نحو الاستسهال والرداءة، بعد أن انضمّ عدد هائل من البشر (بغض النّظر عن اطّلاعهم ومعارفهم وقراءاتهم وتمكّنهم اللّغويّ) إلى صفوف كتّاب هذين النوعين، يقدّمون "مساهماتهم" بسطحيّة وضحالة تُشجّعها محدوديّة المساحة المتاحة للكتابة (تويتر)، أو أن التّقليب السّريع لمحتوى هذه المواقع لن يُشجّع على قراءة الموادّ الطّويلة (فيسبوك)، أو أن اللّغة هي ديكور مرافق لصورة (إنستجرام). وغالباً ما تُستخدم لغة تعبيريّة ركيكة، تمتلئ بأخطاء إملائيّة ونحويّة فاضحة، فلا هي بالعاميّة، ولا هي بالفصحى، ولا هي خليطٌ مدروسٌ أو فنيٌّ بينهما. وتحصد مثل هذه الكتابات الإعجابات والتفاعل من مُقترفي مثيلاتها، فالرّداءة تجرّ الرّداءة، ويغيب النّقد بشكل شبه كامل، فيتمادى هؤلاء "الأدباء" في هذرهم دون نقد.
