يمثل هذا المجلد الجزء الأول من موسوعة القانون المدني اللبناني للأموال وهو عبارة عن مدخل لدراسة قانون الأموال حيث يتحدث الباب التمهيدي عن القانون ومفهوم الحق الذاتي المنبثق عن القانون الوصفي، أما الباب الأول فعرض لمكونات الذمة المالية أولاً، ثم لخصائص العناصر المكونة لها، كما بين بعد ذلك الجدل الفقهي الذي دار حول ركيزة الذمة المالية، وموقف القانون الوصفي اللبناني منه، وعرض الثاني لأقسام الحقوق محدداً إياها بثلاث الحقوق الشخصية، والحقوق العينية، والحقوق الذهنية.
وقدم الباب الثالث تصنيفاً للأموال (العقارات والمنقولات)، فتصدى أولاً لتقسيمات العقار في القانون اللبناني، ومن ثم لتقسيمات المنقول، من ثم بين معايير التمييز بين العقارات والمنقولات وأخيراً فوائد التمييز بينهما.
