يضم الديوان ما يقارب الـ (130) قصيدة تراوحت بين الشعر الموزون المقفَى، والشعر الحر، جاءت بريشة الشاعرة –الأنثى – التي تعطي لقيم الحب والحلم والأمل معنى أكثر جمالية للحياة...
تحت عنوان (الدنيا هدية الإله لنا) تقول سوزان عون: "ها أنا أقف من جديد/على اقدامي، من عذر الأحباب/لقلبي لن أبالي، فلتحيا يا قلبي/ويا مصدر إلهامي، سأحرص أبوابك/لن يعبر فيك ثاني(...)".
من عناوين القصائد نذكر: "قال لي لك مني وردة"، "مع انشقاق أنوار الفجر ترحلين"، "أحبك ربي وما لحبي من فناء"، "وطالت ليالي الإنتظار"...الخ.
