لذلك فإن مدرسة المستقبل يجب أن تركز جهودها على: 1-العمل على تنمية رغبة الطلبة في التعليم، وزيادة دافعيتهم للعمل من أجل التعلم، 2-التركيز على تنمية مهارات التفكير لدى الطلاب.
وتعتبر تنمية مهارات التفكير نقلة نوعية في إتجاه تطوير التعليم، وإحداث تغيير في مفاهيمه، حيث لا بد من الربط بين مناهج الدراسة وإستراتيجيات التدريس، ومهارات التفكير، وتدريب معدي المناهج والمشرفين التربويين والمدربين في مراكز إعداد المعلمين.
من الواجب تدريب المعلمين على إعداد الدروس وتنفيذها، والإبتعاد عن التلقين وتذكر المعارف واللجوء إلى التحليل والإسهام الإيجابي في التطوير وتقديم الآراء، بما ينمي مهارات التفكير لدى الطلبة.
