الكفاية الإنتاجية هي نسبة الداخل في العملية التربوية إلى الخارج منها، ويتعلق مفهوم الداخل هنا بعوامل المدرسين والإدارة التعليمية والإشراف الفني والكتب المدرسية والعلاقات الإنسانية السائدة في المدرسة وغيرها، ويكون الخارج هنا هو نفس المجموعة من الناشئة بعد عبورهم المرحلة التعليمية الخاصة، ويقاس الخارج هنا بمدى التغير الحادث من سلوك الناشئة في جميع النواحي بالنسبة للأهداف التربوية.
فالكفاية الإنتاجية إذاً وعي جديد لا يقتصر مجاله على الصناعة بل يمتد ويتشعب في كل نواحي الحياة، وهي تعني ببساطة: "توفير في الجهد والوقت والمال في أي صورة من صور العمل أو الإنتاج".
ويأتي هذا البحث ليعالج موضوع الكفاية الإنتاجية للمدرس حيث يوضح معايير الكفاية الإنتاجية للمدرس ثم يتعرض للعديد من البحوث السابقة العربية والأجنبية التي تناولت تقويم المدرس من جهة، وفاعليته من جهة ثانية، ثم كفايته الإنتاجية من جهة ثالثة، ووضع في اعتباره كفاية المدرس الإنتاجية لا في مصر فحسب بل في كل مكان بالدول العربية لاشتراك هذه الدول في الثقافة العربية الإسلامية، أي تلك الدول التي تتكلم العربية لغة القرآن ثم تشترك في الدين الإسلامي الحنيف.
وقد قام بتطبيق العديد من أدوات القياس النفسي والتربوي على عينة كبيرة من المدرسين بمصر، ومن أهم هذه الاختبارات: اختبار الصفات الانفعالية، ثم اختبار الشخصية، وبطاقة تقويم المدرس، والثلاثة من إعداد الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد زكي صالح.
واقتراح العديد من العوامل النفسية والتربوية والتي تلعب دوراً فعالاً في رفع الكفاية الإنتاجية للمدرس.
