فهذا الكتاب أحد مخلفات ذلك العصر وقد شاءت الصدف السعيدة أن تحتفظ بجزء صغير من أجزائه الكثيرة في نسخة وحيدة بخط مؤلفه.
وهو يعطي صورة من حياة الثقافة والعلم وقد فرغت البلاد من مشكلة السياسة لتتفرغ للعلم وتبتدئ في تحصيله وقد حمل آثاراً من تلك البداية بما فيها من محاسن ومعايب.
