عمل محلل سياسيا لصحيفة جورنال مصر الناطقة بلسان حزب مصر الجديدة.
أجريت معه العديد من اللقاءات التلفزيونية والمقابلات الصحفية التي تتناول الشأن العالمي والعربي .
كتبت عن أعمالة عدت دراسات لعل آخرها ماكتبه الشاعر اللبناني شوقي بزيع ونشر في صحيفة الحياة الصادرة من لندن.
عمل معدا للبرامج في القناة الثقافية في التلفزيون السعودي.
وقدم كذلك مواد إعلامية فيه.
يحمل درجة البكالوريوس في الأدب الإنجليزي ودرجة الماجستير في النظرية النقدية وفلسفة الأدب من جامعة نورث كارولاينا بالولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
ويجيد أربع لغات حية.
نشر العديد من الدراسات الأدبية والنقدية في مجلات ودوريات أدبية محكمة.
صدرت له ستة مؤلفات تتنوع بين النقد والفلسفة والشعر .
ويعمل رئيسا للجنة المطبوعات بالنادي الأدبي والثقافي بمنطقة جازان بجنوب المملكة العربية السعودية.
Book Description
هي محاولة متواضعه مني لتأصيل منهج نقدي جديد أطلقت عليه مسمى (المنهج التتبعي)، وسأحاول، إنشاء الله، تطويره وتنميته والتوسع فيه مستقبلاً فـي مبحث خاص. وهي مقاربة نقدية لنتاج أدبي أحياناً، ولمنهجية فكر يترجم كممارسة سلوكية لشخوص بعينها فـي حين آخر.
لم أكن أحمل إعجاباً للشخوص أو المواضيع التي طرقتها؛ بل تناولتها بمنهجية عقلية تحليلية متجردة، ربما لعب عامل النضج والسن دوراً فـي ذلك، وربما لعبت القراءات السابقة فـي الفلسفات العالمية، والجدليات العقلية دوراً أيضاً.
كما أن عامل المنهجية الانتقائية للمواضيع التي اخترتها قد كان حاضراً. ولقد حرصت على جلب نماذج واستحضار تجارب وممارسات حياتية من عدة حضارات وأمم متباينة ثقافياً ومن فترات زمنية متباعدة. رغبة مني فـي خلق فهم أوضح وإيجاد دلالة أعمق للمنهج النقدي الذي عالجته في مؤلفي هذا.
