يشتمل هذا الكتاب على جزئين يتناول الجزء الأول منه موضوع حتمية ظهور المهدي عليه السلام وعلائم ظهوره الإجتماعية والكونية والوقائع التي تسبق ظهوره منها الحروب والفتن المدمرة التي ستلتهم ثلثي البشرية ولا تبقي منها إلا الثلث المشبع بالبؤس والحرمان الذي طالما كابد أشد المآسي والمحن طيلة فترة غيبة الإمام المهدي، وصبر على ما أصابه من المصائب والكوارث حتى تكحلت نواظره بطلعة المنقذ والمصلح العالمي وحضي بعدله ورفاه دولته المباركة.
ويبحث الجزء الثاني موضوع دولة الإمام المهدي ومشقاته ضمن ثلاثة فصول، يتناول الفصل الأول سيرة الإمام ومزايا دولته وسعتها ومكان عاصمتها وفتوحاتها ومدة بقائها.
يذكر الفصل الثاني أهم إنجازات دولة الإمام المهدي وعطاءاتها، ويختص الفصل الثالث بذكر موضوعات متفقة ذات علاقة بدولة الإمام وإنعكاساتها الإيجابية على المجتمع البشري بمختلف طوائفه وأديانه وشرائحه الإجتماعية.
