إن عنوان مثل "عندما يزهر الحب" يبعث على التفاؤل ويرسم بالشعر قوانين الحياة التي عاشها الشاعر العيسى في عالمه، ليرى ما لم تراه الأعين ويطق العنان لعاطفة جياشة تعيش معها القصائد مكانها وزمانها وتشي بكل جميل وتنقله إلى القارئ.
في قصيدة تحت عنوان (عودي لنبع الحب) يقول الشاعر: "...حبيبتي../ عودي إلى إشراقة الصباح/ على أرض اليباب/ كي يعود (الوسم) ينبت الزهر/ وتبسم الخزامى والعرار والقينصوم/ للمطر/ عودي إليً../ فقد هرمت ألف عامٍ يا حبيبتي/ عودي لنبع الحب/ في (هلا) تطل من شفافك النديه".
وعلى هذا المنوال نجد الشاعر في معظم قصائده ينزع إلى التعبيرية الذاتية، ليأتي ديوانه محملاً بصور شعرية تحمل في طياتها الكثير من المعاني الإنسانية الشفيفة التي تجسد مرور الإنسان في هذا العالم.
من عناوين القصائد نذكر: عدوس، المأتم، هيدرون، مرارة النفس، غنفوان... الخ.
