قبل أحد عشر عاماً صدر كتاب (رجال حول أهل البيت)، وبعده بثمانية أعوام صدر كتاب (نساء حول أهل البيت)، وعندما أريد إعادة طباعة الكتابين رأى البعض تجزئة هذين الكتابين بحيث يصدر كتيب حول كل معصوم، وأصحابه (رجالاً ونساء)، فكان هذا الذي بين يديك، وهو يحقق عدة أمور، منها سهولة تداول كل قسم من أقسامه، بخلاف ما إذا كان أربعة مجلدات كبيرة، ومنها أن الفئة المخاطبة به هي الفئة الشابة وهم يقبلون على الكتاب الصغير حجماً، أكثر من إقبالهم على كبير الحجم، ومنها أنه من خلال هذا الجمع سيتم الإحاطة بحياة المعصوم من جهات متعددة.. لكل هذه الأمور، تنسيق الكتابين بهذا النحو.
وها بين يديك إضمامة عطر من بستان الإمام الحسين عليه السلام تحتوي على حياة خمسة من الرجال الرساليين وهم: عبد الله بن جعفر (الطيار)، قيس بن سعد بن عبادة الأنصاري، عبد الله بن عباس بن عبد المطلب، كميل بن زياد النخعي، وأبو الطفيل، وخمس من المؤمنات القانتات وهن: قنواء بنت رشيد الهجري، فاطمة بنت أمير المؤمنين، أم الخير بنت حريش البارقية، آمنة بنت الرشدي، أمامة بنت أبي العاص بن الربيع.
