…كم أشعر بالنشوة تنعش قلبي وأنا أحاور نفسي، أودّ أن أختلي بنشوتي، أبتعد عن كل ما يشغلني لأبقى هائماً مع تصوراتي الخيالية؛ ودون أن أشعر أستعجل الوقت من خلال ساعة الحائط التي لا تشعر معي ولا تسرع. أدور في أرجاء مكتبي، أنظر عبر النافذة إلى الفجر وهو يزداد وضوحاً، أسمع أصواتاً في الخارج، عمال يذهبون إلى عملهم باكراً. سيارة تمرّ مسرعة. هرّة تموء من بعيد، عصفور يغرّد مستقبلاً بزوغ الفجر، يحطّ مع رفيقته على حافة نافذتي، يُفاجآن برؤيتي فيطيرا مذعورين، ليتهما بقيا إلى جانبي ليشغلاني بحركاتهما وزقزقتهما عن الانتظار.
إنها عاصفة من الشوق والحنان تجتاحني وتمنحني قلقاً واضطراباً واستعجالاً جميلاً مليئاً بالفرح والانشراح والسعادة.
