"هنيهة ويهطل أمس بكامل عدّته، نستبق الغسق المتناحر في المآقي، هدير جوع ناهض في جوفنا، ورحيل في النقطة موغل، غلالة داكنة لعواصف من شمس مشرعة قلبها للأجساد المنذورة تفتح باب التراب ليذوب وهماً، يخرم خطانا الهشة، تسلقنا الهاوية نفتش عن اسمنا ولٍمِ، في صمت مربوط بالصمت، وفي غفلة منا نبت الرند على عظامنا، مستكيناً كالجليد بجنون السقطة، طرزنا جثة المياه، نفتت أحزانهم، نكنس الأفق المطبق على الأحشاء والأصابع، على وجوهنا غبار طفولة وعلى سريرنا فرش العالم متاهاته، ولم نبصر فرحاً مهاجراً جاءنا عري الصحو!!"
من رآهم زاحفين خلف أوردتهم؟ خرجوا من ظلهم إلى حطام الماء. عادوا، كما انحدروا يرشرشون جروحهم على جنازة النهارات المعلّقة. أصحيح لا يكرر ذاته الحلم؟ أين يروح؟!
