لقد انشغلت ثقافتنا العربية المعاصرة بالكثير من الدراسات وأفردت لها أبواباً كثيرة، لكن موضوع الألوان كان الأبعد عن ذلك الإهتمام، علماً أنه شغل حجر الزاوية في الديكور أو التصميم أو الفنون التشكيلية قاطبة بجانب الأدب والتوصيف الروائي، بل في الفلسفة والمنطق وعلم النفس وعلم الجمال وغيرها.
ويبدو أن إهتمامنا المفرد في إهتمامات العصر، وبتقاليدنا الإجتماعية الأخرى وإبتلاءنا بمن يتربعون على مراكز السيطرة الثقافية، وكأنهم سدنة الثقافة الذين لا يعلمون من الفلسفة إلا اسمها.
والحال في مؤسساتنا الثقافية هو نفسه في صروحنا العلمية والمعرفية التي استلبت منها الروح العلمية وجذوة التجديد، ليلبسوها برقع التقدم والتخلف بدل التجديد، ولتكن عقولنا مشرعة للتجديد نحو القرآن، هذا المعلم الممتليء بالأسرار والمعاني والقيم والمفاهيم، التي أودعها الله تعالى فيه من خلال نافذة "الألوان" معتمدين بذلك على ما لدينا من ثروة علمية وأدبية كبيرة وعظيمة مخزونة في ثناياه؛ وأيضاً على بعض أسراره وجوانبه من خلال ما أودعه الله تعالى فيه من إشارات عابرة تحتاج إلى الروية والتأني لأولي الألباب والبصائر.
لذا كانت هذه الدراسة المعتمدة على القرآن بإعتباره الموجه والباعث الحقيقي للدرس السيميائي، ولتمكننا من إعادة قراءة التراث بكل جوانبه ومناحيه قراءة جديدة؛ فنعيد إكتشاف ذاتنا الثقافية والحضارية من خلاله، والله الموفق.
