لم تنحصر علل الأحاديث في كتب مخصوصة فقط، بل تعدتها لتوجد مفرقة في كتب أخرى مثل: "الإحكام في أصول الاحكام" لــ"ابن حزم"؛ لهذا قام المؤلف بجمع شتات تلك الأحاديث المعللة، المتناثرة بين طيات بحوثه، الفياضة، قصد تلمس منهجه في التعليل وفق منهج إستقرائي يكون مفضياً للنتيجة في آخر المطاف.
وأسمى هذا البحث "الإسهام ببيان منهج ابن حزم في تعليل الأخبار من خلال كتابه الإحكام"، وبذلك يكون هذا البحث قد انضم إلى سلسلة البحوث التي انصبت حول "ابن حزم" وتراثه الزاخر؛ وكان عمله في البحث على الشكل التالي: استخرج منه كل الأحاديث على طريقة التتبع والإستقراء، لأمور منها: 1-الكشف عن العلة التي لا يفصح عنها "ابن حزم" غالباً، 2-البحث عن طرق أخرى للحديث قد تكون صحيحة، او جابرة للعلة؛ أثبت قول "ابن حزم" موثقاً بالجزء والصفحة، بعد ذكر رقمه التسلسلي، ثم بعد ذلك أعقبه بالتخريج والمناقشة؛ صنع فهارس ميسرة ومساعدة: 1-فهرس للآيات القرآنية، 2-فهرس للأحاديث والآثار، 3-فهرس للفوائد الحديثية، 4-فهرس للأعلام.
كتاب يتناول منهج ابن حزم في تعليل الاخبار من خلال كتابه الاحكام فقام المؤلف بجمع شتات تلك الاحاديث المعللة المتناثرة بين طيات بحوثه الفياضة قصد تلمس منهجه في التعليل وفق منهج استقرائي واضح.
