ويتسم هذا الانحراف بأنه ناشئ عن نكسة في الأخلاق والسلوك لا على مجرد الأهواء الغالبة والأخطاء العابرة، كما أن الدعاية المغرضة-وقد وجدت في التقنيات الحديثة ما يخدم أغراضها-لم تبلغ في علانيتها ما بلغته اليوم ضد الإسلام والمسلمين وإذا كان سوء الأخلاق ينشأ من اختلال العقيدة تارة ومن طغيان الشهوات تارة أخرى.
فإن الإسلام دين ينير العقول بالحجة ويهذب النفوس بالحكمة، وكم خرجت مدارسه ومعاهده وجامعاته من رجال عظام تعترضهم الأخطار فيخوضون غمارها، وتعتل عقول فيضعون الدواء موضع عللها. جدٌّ في طلب العلم وطموح إلى المعالي.
ومجتمعنا في حاجة إلى نشء تكون العقيدة الصحيحة سلاحه. والغيرة على دينه ووطنه وأمته هدفه والدين يفجر الطاقات الكامنة في النفوس، ويبعث فيها الإخلاص الذي تسقط أمامه جميع المنافع الخاصة. فسماحة الدين وما له من الأثر الخطير في إعداد أمة روحها البطولة، وزينتها التقوى، وغايتها السيادة على مقداراتها، من أشد ما يبعث ولي الأمر على أن يضعوا علوم الدين بالمكانة العليا وهذا بعض الهدف من إنشاء الجامعة الأسمرية والمنارات الشرعية التي تشرف عليها.
