كي تتحدث عن لبنان ناديا تويني في ماضيها الخاص وقد اختارت القصيدة لأنها تفرض الكلمة وحقيقة الكلام عن صراع مستحيل بين الانسان وأرضه. والقصائد من ترجمة مي منسى وندى الحاج.
"أحادث شيئاً قديماً جداً، فمن النجمة تأتي ذاكرتي"... محفوظات ناديا تويني العاطفيّة عن الحروب اللبنانيّة تتميّز بأنها مرسومة على ثلاثة أزمان وأبعاد، فصلاً بعد فصل: "الأمس، حديقة القنصل"، ثمّ "فيما بعد: أرضي المجنونة"، وأخيراً "اليوم: مستقبل زمني".
الفصول الثلاثة تستعيد، كمقدمات، أبياتاً من ديوان "قصائد من أجل قصّة" الذي كان قد صدر في باريس (سيغرس) قبل عشر سنوات، مثلاً: "كل تاريخ هو تاريخ لحظة من التردّد"، أو "لقد ماتوا معاً، أي كلّ بمفرده"...
هل المجموعة تفسير للحرب؟... نعم ولا... هي رجوع بها، شعرياً، إلى الجذور الدفينة ("هل ولدتُ من أكذوبة/ في بلدٍ غير موجود؟")... إلاّ أنّها تنتهي إلى أدانة للحرب والمحاربين فيها نفحة من الصوفيّة، الحزينة قهراً، ولو اتشحت بعنف دفين... كهذه الأبيات: "وإذا ما عجزت أنا، فيعفُ الصباح... عن هؤلاء القتلة المتكنّين بأسماء أطفال."... "في ذلك الزمان... يوم لم يكن شيء زهيداً دمّرنا الأرض".
