يبدو شعر عبدو زغبور وكأنه ينغلق وينفتح على نفسه حول مجموعة من المعاني المنشطرة إلى جزأين ، من التفكير المزدوج الذي يجمع فقدان إرادة العيش والحاجة إلى المنفى لكي يعرف نفسه في غياب حب منكسف في تخوم ما لا يمكن لمسه . ثم في شعره نعمة الأبعاد العلماني ، طعم الهجرة ، المنفى الذي يعيده دائماً دون وطن أو رب صوب نفسه ، أو ما هو الشيء ذاته ، صوب القياس الضروري للإستلاب الداخلي ، حيث علامات الروح الهشة ، خفقانه النيتشوي " هنا والآن " وكأنه يغرق في الوجود في كل مكان لتوقه إلى العدم .
غناه وضعفه ينتظمان في هذا المفصل المزدوج أو في شرط ترجمة نصوصه الشعرية من لغة على أخرى ؛ هكذا فإن الكلمات عنده تبدو وكأنها تسخر من معناها ذاته لكي تتكرر أو تعود أو تتعرف على نفسها في الشك الوجودي للمعاني العابرة .
يبدو الزمان عنده كذلك منشطراً في رؤية مزدوجة ويعود ليصبح واحداً في ما يُقال وما لا يُقال ، في المعنى وفي التفكير ، في الرؤية وفي الحلم ، في الميتافورا وفي الواقع ، لكي يبني في النهاية جسد الكائن المتأمل نفسه من دون الآخرين .
