بين يديك كتاب (الوصايا) لشيخ مشايخ الصوفية وإمام أئمة الطرائق الإسلامية، العارف بالله، فريد عصره الشيخ الأكبر "محي الدين أبي عبد الله الحاتمي الطائي الأندلسي –ابن العزبي".
وهذا الكتاب منتقى من أشهر كتبه على الإطلاق (الفتوحات المكية) فجاء في كتاب مستقل تحت عنوان (الوصايا) تعميماُ للفائدة بين قراء العربية المسلمين، وهو المشتمل على وصاياه رحمه الله وسمي بالوصايا نسبة إلى مضمونه.
تأتي أهمية ما يكتبه ابن العربي من كونه يقدم ثروة فكرية تنبش التراث العربي الإسلامي وتقدم للباحث والقارئ أهم ما جاء في فلسفة الأخلاق ومعرفة الوجود والنفس الإنسانية في طريقها إلى معرفة الله، من هنا جاء كتاب الوصايا لينتفع فيه المريد السالك إلى معرفة الذات الإلهية.
ومن وصايا (ابن العربي) في هذا الكتاب اخترنا لك: -[وصية] قال لقمان لابنه: جالس العلماء وزاحمهم بركبتيك، فإن الله سبحانه يحيي القلوب الميتة بنور العلم، كما يحيي الأرض الميتة بوابل السماء، وإياك ومنازعة العلماء فإن الحكمة نزلت من السماء صافية، فلما تعلمها الرجال حرفوها إلى هوى نفوسهم.
هذا ويختتم الكتاب بصفحات من عقيدة ابن العربي التي ذكرها في الجزء الأول من كتابه –الفتوحات المكية، يقول فيها: "... أن الله تعالى إله واحد، لا ثاني له في ألوهيته، منزه عن الصاحبة والولد، مالك لا شريك له، ملك لا وزير له، صانع لا مدبر معه، موجود بذاته من غير افتقار إلى موجد يوجده(...)".
